How are you as a teenager different from other teenagers?
So first of all, I wanted to write a answer on how I am different from other boys but couldn’t find the proper question. So in this question I will tell how I am different than other teenage boys. So what makes me different? My hardcore love for cars No offence but half of the boys will say ‘Hey that does not make you different’ but again those half of the boys saying this don’t know a single thing about cars. They would say they are autoheads but in truth they only know about common supercars and if I quote ,Anup S,- Knowing the names of the supercars doesn’t make anyone a autohead There’s a beautiful world of cars beyond Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, Aston Martin’s and Bugatti's. The population of boys I am talking about know only about these common supercars. Even then they’re knowledge will be to the looks of the car’s. Before I continue, I would love to share some of my incidents with those so called ‘Autoheads’ or as I love to say kiddos. Incident 1- Once, a kiddo of my class who knew everything single thing about cars or as he thought told me a very horrible thing- ‘Lamborghini gallardo is the base model of Lamborghini Aventador series. The reason- Lamborghini gallardo doesn’t have a rear wing and Aventador does. But what that kid didn’t knew, was that there isn’t only one model called aventador. There’s Lp700–4, Ultimae, SVJ, SVJ roadster. Even the aventador Lp700–4 doesn’t have a rear wing- ( Its a different thing that you can install a rear wing in this model if you modify it ) ‘I feel so bad for this kiddos’ Incident 2- Kiddo- hey ved listen!! ved- Yeah? Kiddo- You know there isn’t much difference between thar and wrangler. There’s only that huge price difference. ved- In my mind-’haye bhagvan yeh din dekhne se pehle utha kyu nhi liya’. Oh nice. Kiddo- Yeah I know about cars. I love them. No offence to thar lovers. I know thar is a very capable car and I don’t even underestimate it. But.. Thar is no match for wrangler. Wrangler is an powerful demon with more capabilities. Its an American powerful demon. The best thing is don’t, just don’t ever compare Thar and Wrangler. They’re both the best in their respective segments. There’s no match between them. Its an impossible thing. Incident 3- Me- Hey see the pic of this car, isn’t it good? kiddo- show. Umm ved you’re choice is really bad. Kisko yeh khatara gadi psnd ayegi. And it looks very classic and old. Me- Just gave him a long, cold stare and said ‘My bad’ So the car I have showed him was 1969 Dodge Charger with an V8 under the hood. If he had even a little knowledge about engines he wouldn’t have called this beast ‘khatara’. With an V8 under the hood, this car can easily smoke a supercar and in terms of looks it’s a masterpiece. There’s no denying it. And Chargers are just another example of beautiful American workmanship in Automotive sector. To be honest, these guys only love the looks of the cars. They don’t even know a single thing about cars and their engines. For them only look matters. If you give them a choice of ferrari with an alto engine and a honda city with an V6 installed, they would simply go for the ferrari without even thinking for a sec. As I said they only love looks of the cars. They wouldn’t be even able to differentiate- Ferrari 488 pista Ferrari 488 gtb Ferrari 488 pista spider Ferrari 458 speciale Ferrari 458 italia All these car would be the same for them. But a person who truly knows about cars will know that there’s the different between the car design, in some models the cc is increased and some more. The only mustang they know is 500gt and shelby model. They don’t know there’s- 1964 mustang 1965 shelby gt 350 1966 shelby gt 350h 1967 shelby gt 500 1968 shelby gt 500KR 1970 boss 302 And the one I love- 1969 boss 429 with a cobra jet 429 engine. If I get the choice to choose between these classics and the new mustang- I would go for these classics every single time. There are several reason but most important one is new mustang comes with speed limiter in its ECM. And in terms of looks these classics do look more sexy in my opinion. ‘I know I have already wrote too much but please bear with me a little more’ And the only car from nissan they know is GTR R35. But nissan has produced some great masterpieces in the past such as- 96 180sx type x 98 skyline 25gt 70 skyline 2000gt 72 skyline GT-X 93 s3 94 silvia s14 The R skyline series. And how can I even forget the godzilla. The R34- Well I have many things to share regarding all this but don’t want to bore you all, so will just write some little stuff more. Give these kiddos a choice between Land cruiser- And Land cruiser 80 series- They will happily go for the new cruiser. I agree the new one has all the new tech and what not but it’s so bulky and huge. And this here is the perfect off roading legend. In my opinion 80 is way more better than the new cruiser. These ‘Kiddos’ really annoy me. But here on quora I met really wonderful autoheads. There’s ,Anup S,. He also has something for skyline. He loves all the gen and its really fun to talk with him about cars and today only we were both roasting these kiddos. Then there’s ,Riti Bhardwaj,/riti dii. She’s the only girl I know who loves jdm. I mean there are not many girls who love cars and that too jdm. When she first mentioned that she loves jdm I had a mini shock. Her favorite model is evo and its pretty good I must say. You have good for nothing ,Moksh Rajpal, he’s also into cars. He’s favorite car is f-pace. He’s choice is rather unusual but ab bnda bhi unusual hain. We also have ,Fish out of Water, bhai. He’s also into cars and bikes too. Well I do have a dream of starting an Indian version of cars and coffee one day. Hope it comes true. And one last thing that makes me different for most teenage boys is that I hit the gym and work out to have a nice body to impress myself and not girls. There are many classmates of mine who just go to gym to impress girls. I am not saying all are like that but still you know! ‘Till Infinity….and Beyond’
Why do you choose a ferrari 488 gtb 2016 if you can take a Tesla p85d?
Firstly, the P85d starts at 120,000 USD or so and the Ferrari 488 GTB starts at 200,000+ usd. So yeah, you’ll most likely make more money off the Ferrari than the Tesla. Secondly the idea of owning a a Ferrari is much more appealing to people than owning a Tesla (girls etc.). Also when you buy a Ferrari you get that sensational feeling that you won’t get if you buy a Tesla. Now the sound. Teslas are hybrids, so they won’t be making a lot of noise. Then on the other hand a Ferrari is not a hybrid, so they make ,much, more sound that Teslas and can attract people. In the end, it’s all about your personality and what you like and what you don’t like.

Honestly, I wouldn’t know. Because I am not a High Net Worth Individual (yet). But I think even if you have a million US dollars in your bank account, you may not be able to shop without looking at price tags and fly in private jets. It’s a ,2016 Ferrari 488 GTB I pay US$245,400 for it. I still have $64,600 left. Dinner costs, say, $500 and I order a bottle of an uber expensive wine to go with it. To impress. That’s it. People don’t want to be wealthy. They want what being wealthy can buy. You will never know. See someone wearing Balmain stepping out a Ferrari 488 GTB with an insta model? They could have spent most of their savings on the clothes, the Ferrari is rented for a low amount while using up the buyers savings as well, and the insta model might just be a regular girl that has insta followers. OR you could be looking at someone who spent extra money on the Balmain, bought the Ferrari in cash in one day, and is hanging out with a popular influencer and you are looking at a real upper class elite. You can’t be sure unless they admit it’s just for show.

Yesssss. Like the Lucky Strike ad girls, American cars “have come a long way, baby”. In the right direction. As a car crazy kid growing up in 1960s Argentina, I used to ask my dad to drive his Fiat 1500 across the embassy neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, where all the imported cars would be. I saw stuff like this (I actually DO remember an Olds ‘98!) But also this: For many years, my opinion of American car engineering was pretty dismal. But things have gotten progressively much better. Since I moved to the US in 1999, car design has evolved by giant leaps. And ever since the C5 generation, the ‘Vette has been at the forefront of American car engineering. And this latest, mid engine, fully updated and competitive with anything Europe or Japan can create Corvette is a thing of beauty. If only the GT Le Mans class was truly about real competition of road cars, we could see if the new ‘Vette beats the Ford GT, the Ferrari 488 and the Porsche 911 GT3… sadly, the dumb Balance of Performance rules ensure that a damn Pontiac Grand Prix could enter the competition and beat them.
Would it be strange to use a Lamborghini as your daily driver?
I don’t have a Lambo. But I do daily drive an old Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Manual from 1997 and a Ferrari 488. I answer this question previously in relationship to the Ferrari, so I think I could give an respective. Its not Not that bad, depending on the model and year. However, the older the model the harsher it is. Trust me it won’t be comfortable. However, it all depends on the type of person you are. In order to daily drive a Ferrari (in case Lamborghini) successfully and comfortable you got to be a person who is: Very patient and relaxed about life (the opposite of out view our supercar owner) Very diligent and organize This is the biggest key Very focus Very laidback in certains things. More of Carpe Diem In addition, here are other criteria's, but in conclusion you got to be very untypical and unconventional unlike other people, JUST LIKE ME!!! An unorthodox car for an unorthodox person. Some of this criteria I also use for when your driving expensive cars in general, not just supercars, or for those that are car enthusiast in general. Because of this, a lot of people who even own supercars or sport cars always seek advice from me cause I manage to do it to perfection. However, either your lifestyle suits it perfectly or you have to mold to the car. In my case my lifestyle was suited. But here goes the list: Drive from point A to B and period. Or Have a lifestyle that don’t require you to drive as much. In this case, for example, I am qualify to daily drive it cause I only drive each day one simple route with less than 2 or 3 miles (maybe a bit more). You could drive more however, when speaking of driving more try reducing destinations location than the actual miles overall. Know your city very well and your surroundings. In this sense what I mean is that memorize each roads details and the people that are often there. In this sense, you can avoid traffic, car paparazzi's, criminals, and most important of all potholes and speed bumps. Know your city traffic flow by heart or movement of traffic time. In this case, know and learn the specific time and direction of traffic flow. This way, you avoid getting stock in traffic and always have fun on the road. Always be sure to check your cars before driving. Check the oil and see is everything's looks normal, just a quick view that's all. Do a quick view to the tire. They are very essential. For the love of God, wrapped your Ferrari or any sport car or any car with a plastic wrapper. In that case, you wont worry too much about chips. Avoids or be careful and cautious in general after party times. (This goes for all cars drivers) Be careful or avoid (if possible) very late Friday nights, very early Saturday morning and very late nights, and super early Sunday morning driving. This are the time that drunk people or party crazed people can crash at you and the most likely time for police to stop you also. Especially be careful in very early Saturday morning (3–6AM) in big cities as most people are coming from night clubs drunk. If your city have a time restriction on bars then add 1 hours or 2. Then your free to roams the street at its best. An example of this is, Milwaukee. The bars usually close at 2:30 max and most people go out in Fridays or Saturday, so you at that by 1 or 2 and your result will be that either from 3:30 to 4:30 its safe to roam out and also not be cought by police Know police turns schedules Knowing when police change is excellent as it would give you an edge. Have a strong mentality and mental health in general If your the type of person whos always very positive, very animated, very energized, and also the type of person that when in a relationship ends his always down to continue being friend. Your more likely to not complain to much about daily driving a Ferrari, because, just like me, a new day is a new life. Always be relaxed about life and enjoy to the fullest. Patience and positivism is always the key for enjoying a Ferrari or any car at its fullest potential. Have a flexible time jobs or a stress-less job. Trust me. this is a key. But, not always a requirement. Beside having a job that earns the right amount of money obviously, you also need a job that lets you go against the majority of people work life time schedule. I’m going to give you some example of people who I know COULD and COULD NOT have a Ferrari as a daily driver (let forget socio-economic for obvious reasons). Obviously not going to mention name but here are few example: Doctor James: A young doctor. He lives in the buzzling city, but works in a hospital more outside of city center. Dr. James. By default his journeys will be against the rush hour routes. He wakes up at 4:30 or 5AM, do some morning exercise, and goes to work at 6AM or 7AM. Sometimes, he goes to work at 10:00AM. His already have his grocery set up by a online grocery store app, so no worry about that. Instead of leaving work at 4 or 5, he decides to either leave either before 3 or 4 or after 7 or 8pm. This way he avoids traffic altogether. He comes back from work all relaxed and starts watching Netflix. So what we saw here; Unorthodox time schedule Very planned out his daily life. Try’s to avoid being rushed by time in order to get to his job. Gives a lot of time to get to his job in order not to be in pressure. Mr. CEO banker A guys who lives in the suburbs, he has to travel everyday to get to his office. Always stucks in traffic like the rest of his employees that works for him. How could he change? Well by waking up more early to avoid traffic. Then he forgot do some grocery before hand and has to pick up something. Well then your more stress out about not only the car, but also your destination and your job. Mr. Showoff and Mrs. I pretend to be rich The worst. They buy the car not for the experience, but to purely showoff. Most likely don’t have the chance to buy 3 more Lambos or Ferrari. If you don’t have too much money, don’t buy something to make you look rich cause its too obvious what your trying to do for those who have more money. Its not bad to wanna be flashy, but its bad being flashy to the point that can financially ruined you. If your complaining about maintenance is because 1) you don’t have the money (something I actually disagree because I complains too if not giving a exact reasons because I am an engineer). 2) not going to take care of the car. Biggest unanswered question: ,“Would it be strange to use a Lamborghini as your daily driver?” Anything can be strange. “Why have a big pickup truck that waste so much gas, its to big, not so aerodynamic, and your not likley to ever use the bed. When you could buy a sport sedan or a SUV?” “Why buy a Jeep Wrangler or a SUV, when your not even going to do off-roading?” Personally, for me its strange to have a car that your not using to its potential and what its meant for or one that does not fit with your lifestyle. If I have a Jeep, I would go off-road as much as possible, but also when in traffic just cut through the grass. For one to truly daily drive it one has to have knowledge of one surrounding and always and have full alert. One has to be very diligent in plans and scheduling, but one has to be very laidback about bad situation and have patience. I am more like the Dr. James with some other odd things, in which I enjoy driving in the morning and I enjoy driving in general. Doesn’t matter the car that I drive, I love driving any car. It takes me all the bad or negative emotions out of me and ironically makes me more calmed and relaxed because I have to focus on the streets, which works as the best distractor in my opinion. I always find an excuse to drive, because thats what I love the most. Wanna go to the gym? Lets drive and get fit! Wanna go and buy flowers? lets drive and make my girl happy! Daily driving a Lamborghini (in my case a 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S with a Manual transmission and a recently Ferrari 488) kind of make you a better person overall. It made me more responsible and diligent, but also made me more patient about life and what I face. It makes you into a stronger person mentally and emotionally. When cruising early in the morning to avoid traffic I try taking the longest possible routes, in order to enjoy the sunrise waving towards me. I reflect and try to enjoy the car and life as much as possible. Its makes you a better person because you don’t think “Oh I have a Ferrari/Lambo look at me!”, rather “Good Morning Ferrari/Lambo, let’s enjoy life before its too late.” or “Yeah I have a Ferrari/Lambo, but you also have a nice ride too man!”. When I am not being diligent and let my Carpe Diem take hold on me, every things is fun because its an adventure. The potholes or the inconvenience of people talking with you because of the car. But hey, grab your espresso, put on your sunglasses and driving gloves, and enjoy life. As a college student (who also works and have a upstart company) during this pandemic, its been hard for me because I don’t have that much friends back home and all my friends are back in school without me. However, I try to enjoy my youth as much as possible (unlike older supercar owner like my dad) and philosophized about life while driving. So in conclusion, Yes, it is strange, but just as strange as any other cars being used in a manner not design for. I would argue it would be strange if one is daily driving one like if it was any normal SUV or Sedan. If your lifestyle, personality, and way of thinking allows you, then why not?

You are living this out in a dream world because you don’t have the confidence and courage to actually approach someone that doesn’t look like you. I had the courage to approach a beautiful white woman at a Black Tie Charity Event and it turned out to be one of the most meaningful relationships I ever had. It started because I had the confidence and courage to engage and interact with a human being of a different skin color. I’m Black, accomplished, confident,educated, and successful, and well adjusted. I saw what I wanted and I took action instead of fantasizing about her or standing in a corner staring at her all night. The only thing she can say to me is “NO”! However, most men cannot handle failure or rejection. A large part of my success is, I do not fear failure. I embrace my fear of failure to propel me to success. I accept it, I digest it, I learn from it and I move on. I was successful because unlike most men who were drooling at the mouth looking at her, I had the balls to actually approach her and mature enough to accept the possibility of being rejected. Man, this woman was so beautiful that I wanted her and I had to come correct to get her. When we left together every man there was surprised but I wasn’t. Women of any race decipher between the “Nice” guy with his excessive gestures trying to buy her affection and the authentic, kind gentleman that has a genuine interest in her. I still see the look on her face when the valet pulled up in my Ferrari 488 GTB. Her beauty, intelligence, mixed with a touch of bad girl, led to a 7 year relationship of s pure sexual pleasure and fantastic companionship without those phony expectations of labeling our relationship. Not bad, depending on the model and year. However, the older the model the harsher it is. Trust me it won’t be comfortable. However, it all depends on the type of person you are. In order to daily drive a Ferrari successfully and comfortable you got to be a person who is: Very patient and relaxed about life (the opposite of out view our supercar owner) Very diligent and organize This is the biggest key Very focus Very laidback in certains things. More of Carpe Diem In addition, here are other criteria's, but in conclusion you got to be very untypical and unconventional unlike other people, JUST LIKE ME!!! An unorthodox car for an unorthodox person. Some of this criteria I also use for when your driving expensive cars in general, not just supercars, or for those that are car enthusiast in general. Because of this, a lot of people who even own supercars or sport cars always seek advice from me cause I manage to do it to perfection. However, either your lifestyle suits it perfectly or you have to mold to the car. In my case my lifestyle was suited. But here goes the list: Drive from point A to B and period. Or Have a lifestyle that don’t require you to drive as much. In this case, for example, I am qualify to daily drive it cause I only drive each day one simple route with less than 2 or 3 miles (maybe a bit more). You could drive more however, when speaking of driving more try reducing destinations location than the actual miles overall. Know your city very well and your surroundings. In this sense what I mean is that memorize each roads details and the people that are often there. In this sense, you can avoid traffic, car paparazzi's, criminals, and most important of all potholes and speed bumps. Know your city traffic flow by heart or movement of traffic time. In this case, know and learn the specific time and direction of traffic flow. This way, you avoid getting stock in traffic and always have fun on the road. Always be sure to check your cars before driving. Check the oil and see is everything's looks normal, just a quick view that's all. Do a quick view to the tire. They are very essential. Cars. I don’t understand how cars can be so expensive. They basically weigh the same, have four tires, glass, a battery, windshield wipers, hoses, belts. Engines differ in size. Wing doors would cost more. Most cars are made out of metal, so why does a fiberglass car cost more? They suck in the winter because they will shatter in the cold if you get in an accident, so you only get to drive them so many months a year. Convertibles cost more. Understandable. But again, you won’t see them out of the garage in winter. Really limits your months of driving. Hot sports cars only seem to be owned by elderly men. So it takes your entire life to afford one. $18.9 Million Bugatti "La Voiture Noire" Is the Most Expensive New Car Ever Sold This car is hot. Not that thrilled with the rear end design, but, overall, very hot. So I think a house priced at $18 million is ridiculous, so this would never be my car. I would rather have an animal sanctuary.
