Review Q&A honda dlx bike

Which bikes are good for long distance travel, i.e. that provides good mileage, are the best for city traffic, and cost around 70k or 80k in India?

Thanks for A2A If you want a good bike on long disatnce travel which will provide you good mileage and best in city traffic so according to your demand i would like to suggest you Honda CB Shine SP. Honda CB Shine SP: Best in Mileage (approxx 45–50 KMPL) Best in City Traffic Best for Long Rides Low Maintainance Bike Honda’s Engine Comfertable Family Ride Honda CB Shine SP has loaded 124.73 single cylinder, air-cooled engine displacement along with HET with BS-IV Compliance (HET). The engine delivers the 10.16 BHP at 7500 maximum power and 10.30 NM at 5500. this bike available in three variants, CB Shine SP STD, CB Shine SP DLX and CB Shine SP CBS. Its earlier variant Honda CB Shine, which has made a new yet huge sales record of 50 lakh units. On behalf of its mind-blowing performance, the bike not only holds the first position in the Indian market but also in the global market.

Is it the right decision to buy a Honda Hornet 160R with an ABS DLX model bike?

Absolutely! I'm owning a CBS version and it has a good braking power. But the problem is that during panic braking situations you tend to apply front brake more than the rear which leads to skidding . This happened to me once, while taking a blind turn, though my speed was under 25 kmph,a guy from the opposite lane made a mistake and I just applied front brake as hard as I can. Well I was down within fractions. So better go with ABS version which prevents from wheel lock and is safer than CBS!

Which one shall I buy in between "Royal Enfield standard 350" and "Honda cb350"?

A look at the spec sheet would be enough for taking the final decison. But is it so? lets find out.♦️ Classic 350 Classic 350 is the epitome of retro bikes in India. Its the bread and butter for RE. With such a rich heritage, RE doesn't fiddle with the design. Hence, it sells like a hot cake. Image source: rohan bhogan PROS,: Legendary bike from RE stable and one of the most respected bikes in India. Retro design that will age well even in the coming years. Solid sales network and superb showroom experience. Tons of modifications can be done at a inexpensive cost. Superb low end torque. Ultra comfortable seat for rider and pillion. It also has the most accommodating saddle in this segment. Long distance touring is the biggest forte of classic 350. Good resale value. ,Owing a classic 350 is the dream for several Indian bike lovers 😇 CONS: Vibration is the most angst issue. Even after bs6 update, vibe issue is present and its far from being refined if you compare against Jawa. Lacklustre instrument cluster is another elephant in the room. We're all craving for fuel indicator and a gear positioning indicator. Some people talk about reliability issue, ya it's there but if you maintain it properly it won't upset you much. Honda H'ness CB 350 Honda H'ness is here to disrupt this segment with mind boggling features list. It actually looks phenomenal with some amazing dual tone paint job in DLX PRO edition. PROS: It has every thing that RE never gave us. With such a long list of feature such as Slipper clutch, balance shafter (to iron out vibration), traction control, distance to empty, dynamic mileage indicator, gear position indicator, all LED treatment and tubeless alloy wheel, I'm sure it won't be tough for us to decide!! CONS: While it is difficult to identify cons w/o any test ride, some cons should be kept in mind. For eg, the engine is new and should be throughly tested before we claim that it is best engine in the segment. Next up, Honda would sell this bike in its Honda Big Wing premier dealership that are already limited to Tier 1 cities. It means availibility would be a major issue for lots of buyers. Lastly, we also needs to check the service and spare parts cost. For those looking for a quick comparo, take a look below 👍🏿🙂 Overall, both the bikes deserves admiration in their own right. I think you should wait for couple of months and test ride H'ness cb 350. I'm sure it'll surprise you! But it's clear that Honda H'ness could turn out to be a major threat for Dominar 400, RE, Jawa, Imperialle 400 and MOJO 300.

Is the new Hero Mestro or the Honda Activa better? Should I wait for the 2015 model?

Hey, I will recommend for Honda Activa. No need to wait 2015 model. There won't be huge difference between current model and 2015 model. How is the Honda Hornet ABS DLX version different from the ABS STD one?

In ,Dlx, version , You will get ,Rear Disc Brake. ,Price is ₹93,630 Ex.showroom pune In ,STD ,version, You will get ,Rear Drum brake. ,Price is ₹91,131 Ex. Showroom pune. Both versions have ABS, But it is single channel ABS, it works only on front wheel. Hence both bikes have same front brake. Everything is same on both bikes except for rear disc brake.

Why has the Honda Hornet 160R 2018 ABS DLX edition not yet arrived at Patna showrooms?

I am also not sure why they have delayed. I have booked Hornet ABS DLX in Pune on 12 may, 2018. Right now, 2 month passed still waiting. Honda Showroom said to me they have received email 1 month back from Honda stating that “do not take order for ABS Honda bikes for 20–25 days”. May be productions are not completed yet. Honda dealers are also does not know the exact date of arrival. If you liked this version of hornet let's wait otherwise go for other bikes.

How I should ride the scooter Honda Dio DLX 2015 so that I can get the maximum mileage? Between what speeds should I keep it in to get maximum fuel efficiency?

This being a 100cc bike is tuned for maximum efficiency already and depends on your driving style and where you are driving. Stop-go traffic ruins it all and going too fast also does no good. So stick to the 40KM/h - 50KM/h speed range at a constant RPM which should return you the best efficiency. Avoid abrupt acceleration

How we can remove the speedometer sensor in a Honda Hornet ABS DLX? Will it affect the ABS in the bike or not?

Speed sensor is what tells whats happening to ABS’s controller unit, why do you want to remove anything for that matter ?
