What is the difference between the old Lamborghini Aventador and the new Lamborghini Aventador?
The newer model Aventador's have engine start-stop, slightly softer suspension (especially compared to the rougher suspension of the early 2011/2012 years), more customization options with Lamborghini's new "Ad-personam" program, and also it has the ability to shut off half of the V-12 engine and turn into an inline-6 engine when you are driving lightly in Strada mode. It alternates between the two sides of the V-12 every two minutes for even wear on the engine when using that feature.
How long does it take to order a custom built Lamborghini from start to finish?
It depends on the car but I think around 8 weeks or so from the time you place your order to the car arriving to wherever you live. It also depends on the things you want because a custom-built Lambo will have to go through the Ad Personam program.
With which materials is a Lamborghini made out of?
Your low-end Lamborghinis are mostly made out of Aluminum with a shade of carbon-fiber every now and then. Engines are made out of aircraft grade Aluminum and the interior has almost infinite personalization with Lamborghini’s “Ad Personam”. The higher-end Lamborghinis have more carbon-fiber and that is pretty much it. Hope this helps!
How much is a Lamborghini Aventador?
There are now currently many different types of Aventador on both new and used markets. For the current Aventador (18’ Aventador S LP740–4), it will set you back around 400k - 600k new depending on options like Ad Personam. For a used one, I’ve seen most around 430–500k. For the last Aventador, the LP700–4, that one is now discontinued and for a 2012 you could find one for around 250–300k. For a 2015–7, you can pick one up for around 300–450k. For the SV LP750–4, those are running around the pre-owned market for 500–700k. The Muira Homage Edition is hovering at about 400–550k. Hope this helped.
Is the Audi R8 the same as a Lamborghini?
Yes and no. The Gen 1 R8 shared many components with the Lamborghini Gallardo. Similarly, the Gen 2 R8 shares many components with the Lamborghini Huracan; namely the engine, carbon ceramic brakes, ECU, sensors, and some frame members. They are sister cars developed on the same platform. As a result, performance is relatively similar as well. VAG’s capital injection into Sant‘Agata drove much of that adoption. Where the cars predominantly differ is in their styling, ground clearance, interior appointments, and head/leg room. Larger individuals report having an easier time fitting in the R8 than the Huracan. Personalization options exist for both platforms. Audi offer Audi Exclusive for bespoke exterior paints and interior leather, stitching, and Alcantara colors. Lamborghini’s program for this is Ad Personam.

The SE30 was rolled out in 1993 as a special, limited production Diablo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Lamborghini. Designed as more of a street-legal racer, the car was lightened and given a power increase to 523BHP with enhanced features such as a tuned fuel system, free-flowing exhaust, and magnesium intake manifolds. The car was built in 2017, hasn’t been registered, and the warranty period also hasn’t started. The Aventador LP 700-4 Miura Homage is another anniversary example on our list; it was developed to celebrate 50 years of the iconic Miura, a forerunner of all V12 super sports Lamborghinis. The special edition car was created by the company’s Ad Personam customization division. 9. 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 Superveloce: a unique example with no rear wing Price: $496,902 This Lamborghini Murciélago was delivered in spring 2010 to its first owner–a passionate collector who had enough influence to order and receive a rare and expensive car modification: the rear wing was removed at the factory, which gives the vehicle a unique look. The most striking feature of the modified design is the front and rear sections with new carbon fiber attachments. The “Superveloce” in the car’s name can be literally translated as “superfast.” This is a limited edition series of only 350 Murciélago examples produced with lightweight bodies and increased power of 670 hp. As a result, the vehicles can reach a maximum speed of 337 km and can sprint from 0 to 100 km (60 mph) in only 3.2 seconds. 8. 1988 Lamborghini Countach: a Piedmontese term best translated as “Goodness” Price: $544,322 There is a legend that a Lamborghini factory worker once saw a car standing in the yard, gasped, and said “Countach!” (a Piedmontese term that can best be translated as “Goodness”). In any case, the Countach shows Lamborghini’s revolutionary mindset and capacity in terms of design and engineering. A multitude of different Countachs was produced between the initial release in 1974 and the end of production in 1990. But only the Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole developed between 1985&1988 features the most powerful Lamborghini engine of its time: a 5.2-liter, V12-engine producing 335 kW (455HP) with the help of 6 Weber carburetors. The company built 544 cars with these modifications, and one of them is the Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole offered for sale. The car also belongs to a short-lived series with air vents in the side skirts in front of the rear wheelhouse which allows better cooling of the rear wheel brakes. 7. 2020 Lamborghini Urus by Mansory: a customized upgrade by a legendary atelier Price: approx. $585,349 Mansory has added extra athleticism to the already fierce and masculine Lamborghini Urus. “We took the bear and made a beast out of it that will make everyone turn their head,” says Mansory’s official page. One of the key modifications is a complete apron that gives the front of the car a rather aggressive yet futuristic, Transformers-movie-inspired look. Other upgrades include 24-inch Mansory black wheels with yellow brake calipers, a Mansory exhaust system, and an impressive 750 hp under the hood. 6. 1-of-20 2012 Lamborghini Murciélago Versace Editions: supercar-meets-fashion collaboration Estimated price: $710,839 A rare (and singular occurrence in automotive history) collaboration between a supercar brand and a fashion house resulted in the great success of a 6.5-liter V12 Murcielago with Versace’s meander print on the body. With only 20 vehicles built, the Lamborghini Murcielago Versace for sale is one of 10 examples with white paint. It was ordered with the Reventon wheel package, 680 hp BF performance upgrades, Valvetronic exhaust, and carbon-fiber aerodynamic package. The car comes with a “price on request” tag but according to the seller, its estimated price is about 590,000 euros. 5. 2021 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster SVJ: a golden chance you won’t want to miss Price: approx. $759,593 The newest Aventador SVJ to date, this example has everything a car needs to turn heads on streets, including the rare golden color in which the Aventador SVJ Roadster was presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. With only 800 examples to be produced, the roadster version is more valuable than a coupe. In terms of performance, the SVJ (Super Veloce Jota) is a track-focused version of the Aventador SV. The car beat the Porsche 911 GT2 RS on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in July 2018, setting a record lap time of 6:44:97. 4. Lamborghini Reventon, inspired by the fastest airplanes Estimated price: $1,420,000-2,500,000 The Reventon is a limited-edition Lamborghini developed, in large part, for image purposes; the car with the serial number 00/20 was sent directly to the Lamborghini museum. Technically, the model is almost identical to the Murciélago LP640; but, what is truly exciting and worth seeing is the Reventon’s exterior design inspired by the fastest airplanes. Each car has the same exterior color, described as “mid opaque grey without the usual shine.” Engineers worked really hard on the lightning; the car has daytime running lamps in the headlamps which stay lit whenever the car is in motion, special heatproof LED lighting at the rear, and rear lights with triple arrow optical effects. The active rear wing and the active air intakes integrated into the car’s shoulders are electronically controlled, deploying automatically only at high speeds to maximize both aerodynamic and cooling efficiency. The Reventon’s exterior was created as the basis for the company’s current flagship: the Aventador. Even though the American example doesn’t belong to the most desirable P400SV line unveiled in 1971, it’s still a Miura P400 that changed the automotive landscape forever, after being presented at the 1966 Geneva Salon. The car for sale has only 10,504 km (6,524 mi.) on the odometer, features an original factory color, and the title of the 2019 concourse winner. 2. 1-of-40 2017 Lamborghini Centenario Roadsters Estimated price: $2,800,000 The Centenario is the newest limited-run Lamborghini dedicated to the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini and unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The price of the featured car is not revealed, but; in 2020, a similar Lamborghini Centenario was listed for $2,800,000. According to Lamborghini, the Centenario was developed “to express the maximum potential of Lamborghini’s research and development department.” This principle can be spotted in many details such as the car’s infotainment system that records telemetry and driving data or the new design language based on the largest rear diffusers ever to be incorporated into a car. 1. 2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster: one of the world’s most expensive production cars Estimate price: $4,500,000+ The Veneno offered for sale, ,on JamesEdition is a “price on request” car; but, according to Forbes, the car might cost about $4,500,000. And, in 2019, a Veneno was auctioned at Bonham for an astonishing 6,768,709 GBP. The Lamborghini Veneno is a truly rare supercar with a perfect design and excellent performance; it’s essentially a racing prototype built for the road. The vehicle was developed as a tribute to Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, with only 9 roadsters and 5 coupes rolled out in 2013-2014.
