Sadly, for us manual transmission enthusiasts time has come that the numbers of manual transmission vehicles are being sold at an all time low, because of this car buyers are going towards automatic transmissions, which regular commuters feel easy, but enthusiasts are fighting to keep the manual transmission alive, who wants a car which is not safe, the automatics are not safe because they change the gear themselves, if a person steps on the accelerator unintentionally and with much presure, chances are he and his car would end up in a crash. This is not the case with the manual transmission where the driver has the complete control, even if the accelerator is stepped on unintentionally, the car wouldn't enter dangerous speeds unless the gear is changed. Overall Manual cars are Fun and here is the list of some of the manufacturers who still give power to their customers to choose between the lame transmission and Manual transmission. Aston Martin Vantage - Yes, its true Aston had released a variant which comes with a 7 speed manual. Corvette C8 - Production Ceased, but i guess one can find any stock in showrooms. Jaguar F-Type - Don't get your hopes high, only the V6 variant comes with a manual. Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ - Same cars with a different badge. Camaro ZL1 - Yes, the Meaty muscle gets a manual with 6 speed. Mustang - Everybody knows this, the pony gets a 6 speed. Lotus Exige - Hard to find, may go off shelves at any time Porsche 718 Cayman/Cayman GT4/Boxter - all of these will get a manual. Mazda Mx5 Dodge challenger/hellcat - Yes, these beasts with a horsepower that cars have rarely seen have a manual, sadly though demon doesn't get a manual, and Hellcat has 707HP with a manual, how cool is that. 707 Horses in my hand. Audi TT - Rs variant doesn't get a manual, but a normal one with 2.0 litre TFSI gets it. There are some others which have a manual transmission, but these are the ones i found interesting. #savemanuals

I think of a garage as a bit of a swiss army knife. You want the right tool for the right job at the right time. So, to answer your question Iâd want a decent varietyâŚnot all sports cars and not all luxury cars. Hereâs my list with a little bit of explanation on each one. Ferrari 250 GTO, - this is a collectible car. There were only 39 made and when one is for sale, it currently trade hands from between $30M-$50M. Many people say theyâre awesome to drive but with a valuation like that itâd probably only come out at special events. Iâd settle for a 250 SWB if no GTOs were for sale. Lotus Exige, - a car for the track. I currently own a Lotus Elise and itâs also a great track car but Iâd probably get an Exige for full on trackday duty. The Elise is a little underpowered and while I appreciate the rear visibility on the street, I wouldnât mind not being able to see out the back window if it was only a track car. These cars are light, so theyâre cheap to operate at the track since theyâre easy on tires, brake pads, and other consumables. Range Rover ,- for offroading and going to Home Depot. These are an excellent combination of luxury and off-road capability. Plus they have room for plenty of stuff, perfect for when my son wants to go camping. Audi S8 - ,to haul the family around. I donât like driving a big SUV when I donât need to but the S8 can haul my family around and sometimes itâs nice to drive a luxury car. Lotus Evora 400 ,- a great, capable sports car to drive every day. Theyâre fast, look amazing, but even have (small) backseats. Can you tell that Iâm a big Lotus fan? If I had room for 1 more, Iâd go with the McLaren F1 (I might even consider swapping the Ferrari GTO for it.) The F1 still looks stunning despite being built in the 1990s and is still a very analog but modern hypercar before they all had fancy computers to keep you from crashing them.
How do you buy an exotic car if you make less than $30,000 evey year?
Hereâs what I did⌠try and apply what Iâve done to get the exotic cars I own or have owned to your situation if possible. I was making somewhere around $30,000 per year working at a box factory. It was tough to find any work at this time, so I was blessed to find that job. But I quickly learned that I hated that work. It was HOT typical days were 110 degrees, hot days would get up to 130â140⌠we had to bring cooking thermometers in because store bought ones didnât go high enough, it was a lot of HEAVY lifting, standing, and overall poor working conditions. I worked as hard as I could. Impressed managers and gave it my all. I told myself I would work there for two years and not a minute longer. I managed to save a little bit from every pay check. I didnât go blow it on the bars or anything like that. I lived as frugally as possible so that I could save to get me out of that place. After 2 years I saved $10,000. I quit that job almost exactly two years after I started. I then met my now wife, Sasha. I now was jobless, but had a nice little savings, and instead of buying a car I moved to a larger city and got another job working as a Pharmacy Technician, making close to minimum wage (a lot less than $30k). This was a job I needed while I tried figuring out what the heck I wanted to do for a living, and by getting this job it helped prevent me from dipping into my savings too quick. My wife also worked in the same role as I did. After a year of dealing with some nice customers, and some customers screaming at you because you wonât give them their Vicodin or OxyContin I realized that when Iâm at home I spend tons of time on the computer. Iâve taught myself some basic programming languages. I always thought of this as a fun thing to do in my spare time. But then the lightbulb went off⌠why donât I do this for a living? Then it hit me, Sasha spends a lot of time doing tech type things too. Why not double down? We both put 110% into learning how to program, did crash course classes, and gave it our all. Three months later we landed jobs. We went from making a combined $20k per year to a life changing amount more just three months later. Now itâs been four years, weâve been blessed along the way, it took a ton of hard work, determination, and quite frankly⌠luck.
