@VolvoCarUK is it appropriate selling an XC40 without rear interior lights? Safely placing the baby in the back is not easy in the dark. This is a corner I would not expect Volvo to cut and can the lights be retrofitted? Good thing we checked that the steering wheel is included.

@VolvoCarUK That’s great, thank you. Please can you also advise as to how I can retrofit interior rear lights to the XC40 I already have? I’m not sure I can live without them. I don’t think it’s at all safe to be messing around with child seats in the pitch black, as I’m sure you’d agree?

Hi @VolvoCarUK do you have any suggestions about how to see in the back of the XC40 when it’s dark? I’m struggling to use our baby seat at night, because there seems to be no interior lighting back there! Am I missing something really obvious? How can there not be a light??

So it’s that time of year again. The nights are drawing in, and as darkness falls the time has come to ask: ‘Why did @volvocars not put interior lights in the back of the XC40?’

@hakan_samuel I love it! And I love the little rear light detail of an extra line, that truly fixes the issue with the rear lights I have on some other modern volvo's like the S60. But please DO NOT use the xc40 interior. The xc90,s60,s90 and so on flow far better.
