New immobiliser antenna arrived today. Sadly still not started. Bugger! Gonna strip all wiring loom top to bottom to find any fault and upgrade. Wish me luck. Might as well rebuild myself. Bloody Ducati electrics! Code 37.3 whatever Serial cable disc means! https://t.co/jrl9JlX7x4

For #kiwicon people wanting the blog post for Ducati immobiliser hack

The engine immobiliser light on the Ducati blinks every three seconds. I wonder: "When will that light burn out?"

@Biketruck @norton_ceo I agree. sold them for 23 yrs.Half the problem is UK insurance. For example if Ducati fitted an alarm immobiliser to all bikes at build that would be great however it wouldn’t be Thatcham approved for UK insurance so effectively a waste of time.Would still need an aftermarket fit

@DanHesketh3 Check the immobiliser is seated properly? Had something similar on the Ducati. I only worked it out because it was the last thing I did. Had a wiggle about and nipped it down and that sorted it.
