Review Q&A renault odisha

Is ITER a good college?

Remembering, good old days with this question that popped up in my feed. But, here I am to give you a jest of a pretty harsh time that most of my fellow mates might have gone through three and a half years ago, Some are still thinking about how it ruined most of our career paths and throttled to take some pretty unknown decision and experiences. This is my story of ITER Batch 2017 - Branch ECE. 435+ Engineering Students of ITER, SOA University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha which is known to be the topmost private universities in India had built a well-planned recruitment scam for the pass-out batch 2017. These were unfortunately newly graduated Engineers who were offered jobs with rigorous scrutiny or various rounds of exams and interviews rolling down their names and receiving offers around in the span of October 2016 - April 2017 and after 7 months later on, the day of their respective joinings they found to have been duped by not one but multiple numbers of companies. These were the Multinational Companies: Intel Security (McAfee Software) Huawei Toshiba Renault Motors (Magneti Marelli) IRCON Construction Schneider Electric Mitsubishi Electric Honeywell Supertech Ltd, and a few more These companies adhere to the statement that they were found to have no legitimate representatives or connections who have conducted campus interviews in ITER, SOA University. Placement officer of ITER, SOA University Prof. Rajkumar Hota (Placement Cell Dean) seems to be unaware of any information behind this scam and later interrogation states to dealing with a Placement Consultancy Firm (whose name is not been disclosed till date) who he collaborated with in order to bring various companies for interviewing the students. The head officials of the college share an offer via email days after - to take compensation after a howling and telecasting this issue in various media channels and strikes by affected students and parents that were demonstrated over the University Office and in continuation of several questions with filed FIRs to the University Officials. Join as a Teaching assistant Monthly stipendiary support of INR 20,000/- as Teaching Assistant in their respective programs for a maximum period of one year or till the students get a job, whichever is earlier. 2. Join in M. Tech. Program with specialization The entire course fees to be borne by the University for those who wish to pursue an M. Tech degree in ITER, SOA University in respective discipline. 3. Join in MBA Program with specialization The first-year course fees to be borne by the university for those who wish to pursue an M.B.A degree in IBCS, SOA University in their choice able specialization. For as great the university offers looks to the readers it clearly does not justify the damage done by playing a scammer to the students who put their dreams to do something ahead and were looking forward. Definitely, one would have thought the free education would have been one of the best options, well truly studying 4 years was quite a lot to make a judgment of the quality of education that this institute had offered. Not to forget there are good faculty but nearly 2-3 to choose amongst all who clearly have my respect for valuing my engineering degree. And like many others who were riding in the same boats, these were merely our choice to join in M. Tech. Or M.B.A. With the played cards of recruitment scam of 435+ students. Well, thinking far ahead of this whole situation after three and half years and chaos, dilemma, peer, parental issues and unable to move back to home to avoid various questionnaires and struggling to appear interviews with different companies in a far city Bangalore independently. Well yes, the college shared us a communication via emails to appear nearly never heard companies who have been kind enough to hire the students who were scammed by the institute but, as far as I know only 10% might have shown back to the Institute on this regard. To understand this matter deeply, none of the officials were charged, students were paid monthly which in fact was to minimizing the reputation of the college or could be dismissing the matter. Well, nothing was ever or even to date has been discussed with the affected students at least me if I am working? To a lot, many people who are reading this ALMAMATER is a matter of pride. Alas, I certainly have not found any joy.

Which is the best city in India to boost a start up?

According to my brief research these are best business suitable cities in India: Bengaluru India’s Silicon Valley has been ranked as the city with the most conducive environment for trade and digitalisation, as per a survey on business confidence by the Economist Intelligence Unit. A JLL ranking of the world’s most dynamic cities has also ranked Bengaluru number 1, with the city constantly adapting and leveraging technology and innovation to come on top. While the city is home to the nation’s largest IT companies, with Infosys, Wipro, Mphasis and Mindtree all headquartered there, it has also been the breeding ground for a number of startups including Flipkart, Ola, InMobi, Quikr and Mu Sigma. The city also has some of the largest technology parks in India – Electronic City with around 200 IT and ITES companies, Bagmane Tech Park, International Tech Park (ITPL) and Embassy Golf Links. It is also home to leading educational institutions such as the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B), National Institute of Design, National Law School of India and National Institute of Fashion Technology. A cosmopolitan culture also adds on to the ease of doing business in the city. The Bengaluru real estate market has also been relatively stable in the city. Where the city lags behind is in traffic management, with the city unable to keep up to the exploding road transport situation which has made commuting on the city’s roads a nightmare. However, the Bengaluru metro, the second largest metro system in India after New Delhi, has made commuting relatively easier. Mumbai India’s financial capital, Mumbai, is known for its resilient nature and entrepreneurial mindset. In fact, a major reason for India’s big leap in the ease of doing business index is the reforms taken by the Maharashtra government. The Maharashtra Government has reduced the time frame for getting clearances from 160 days to 60 days, the number of permissions required for constructing a building has been reduced from 42 to 8 and electricity connections are now provided within nine days. Companies such as Larson & Toubro, Tata Group, Godrej and Reliance are all headquartered in Mumbai. Real estate prices and infrastructure which has not caught up with industrial growth, remain bottlenecks in the city. However, upcoming projects such as the Coastal Road which will connect South Mumbai with the western suburb of Kandivali, the Goregaon-Mulund Link road, connecting the western and eastern suburbs, the Mumbai-Trans harbour link which will connect Sewri in South Mumbai to Nhava Seva port in Navi Mumbai, are expected to ease traffic once completed and boost business further. Delhi NCR New Delhi and the National Capital Region has also played an important role in improving India’s ranking in ‘ease of doing business’ index. The process of starting a new business in the capital city has become easier with the introduction of several government initiatives including setting up online industry licensing facility and single window clearance systems which have ensured that licences are cleared much faster. The main growth areas of the region have been the satellite towns of Gurugram and Noida, rather than New Delhi itself. Both Gurugram and Noida have lower rental costs and a wider consumer base, with high spending power. The NCR is home to several large industries, including IT, Telecommunications, Hospitality, Banking, Media and Tourism. It has also been a hub for startups primarily in the e-commerce sector, with Snapdeal, Zomato, ShopClues and Paytm being early movers. The region also has a good talent pool in the form of IIT Delhi and other major institutions. The high levels of air pollution that plague the region is a major area of concern, affecting daily lives and businesses. Hyderabad: The city has been ranked as the best Indian city to live in by Mercer, a global human resources consulting firm headquartered in New York. The relatively lower crime rate, cleaner environment and availability of good schools, being major contributors. It also comes fifth amongst the world’s most dynamic cities, chosen by JLL in its City Momentum Index 2017, based on measures such as population, connectivity, technology, research & development, education, construction, real estate investment and property prices. The city has the reputation of being a pearl and diamond trading centre, automobile centre and pharmaceutical centre. Hyderabad is also home to a huge IT and ITES industry with global IT firms such as IBM, Yahoo!, Dell, Facebook, Microsoft, Google and Indian IT giants such as Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services all located there. Hyderabad also has a thriving startup environment with 17 incubators, the highest in any city. The city and its suburbs also have the highest number of special economic zones in the country. The city has overcome fears that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will cause hurdles in business, with companies such as Google and Amazon throwing their weight behind it. While Google is in the process setting up its biggest campus outside the USA in Hyderabad, Amazon is establishing its largest procurement centre there. Chennai: Tamil Nadu’s capital city is also called the Detroit of India, with automobile giants such as Hyundai, Renault, Nissan Motors, Ford and BMW all having their manufacturing centres in Chennai. The cultural city is also a financial hub with many international banks and financial companies located there. A thriving IT industry, with companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and HP, all contribute to making this city a major business centre. However bureaucratic hurdles that have to be crossed while setting up businesses and getting clearances, a more conservative attitude towards risk-taking and an uncertain political environment, are some challenges that the city needs to overcome. Jaipur: Apart from being renowned worldwide as a top tourism destination, Jaipur has also emerged as one of the best cities in India to do business in. The city’s economy is fuelled by tourism, gemstone cutting, jewelry and textile and information technology. Low property prices and fast developing infrastructure have led to IT giants such as Wipro, Cognizant and Infosys eyeing Jaipur as IT hubs. The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and Jaipur Smart City Ltd, which is the special purpose vehicle set up to achieve the mission of making Jaipur a smart city, have started work towards making the city a smarter one. In fact, Jaipur was the first city in South Asia to be chosen by Cisco to be the first Smart+Connectedtrade; Community Lighthouse City, a global mission to make cities smarter. This means that the city will gain access to Cisco’s huge global network and channel programme network. The city also is well connected with the NCR. The Delhi-Jaipur Express Highway and the proposed Gurgaon-Jaipur Super Expressway are two infrastructural developments that will reduce travel time between the city and the NCR. Ahmedabad: The largest city and the former capital of Gujarat, Ahmedabad is one of the fastest growing cities in India, with a strong history of entrepreneurship and a historical edge in commerce and trade. Ahmedabad has a thriving textile, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and is home to two of the largest pharma companies in India – Zydus Cadila and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. The city also boasts of one of the premier business schools in India – the Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. Located about 12 kilometres from Ahmadabad, the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City or GIFT is an under construction central business district. Once completed GIFT will feature a super economic zone (SEZ), a convention centre, educational zone, international hotels, an entertainment centre, an international techno park, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) units, shopping malls, stock exchanges and residential units. Bhubaneshwar: The capital and largest city in Odisha, Bhubaneshwar is one of India’s first planned modern cities. Traditionally dominated by small and medium scale businesses, Bhubaneshwar is also home to a flourishing IT/ITES industry with software giants such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, Genpact, Mindtree having their campuses set up in the city. It has also been ranked as the best Indian tier 2 city to conduct IT/ITES business in. With 15 law colleges, over 260 general colleges, six medical colleges, and the presence of reputed institutions such as the IIT Bhubaneshwar, Xavier’s Institute of Management (XIMB) and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), the city has plenty of talent to offer. These are the cities I found worth mentioning please do suggest if I need to add more.

How Does the Gounder caste have more industrialists?

Industries belonging to Gounders are mostly concentrated in western part of Tamilnadu a.k.a Kongunadu. Gounders basically are Hard working, closely knitted community and they generated the capital required by themselves. Gounder caste is a Land owning feudal caste like Jaat of North India, with vast majority of people belonging to the community owning large tracts of lands. After that it got fragmented due to sharing among family members. Until 1990, Gounders did not make any impact in industrialisation. After 1990, many Gounders sold their surplus land and opened industries and educational institutions. This led to massive industrialisation in kongu districts such as Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode , Salem, Karur, Nammakal, parts of Dindigul. Many kammas naidus before independence worked under British in the position of clerk and other jobs, so when british left India they gave huge tracts of land and their establishments to Kamma naidus so that kammas got benefited and they dominated industries in Kongu region till 1990, but after 1990s the emergence of Gounders led to massive growth among Gounder community which ultimately led Gounders overtaking Naidus in various sectors and consolidation of Gounders in later part of 90s led to Opening of various industries in the region. Gounders dominance started in various sectors especially Textile, Transport, poultry, Engineering, foundry, Retailing, construction, education, health, hospitality etc, Many industrialist emerged during 90s with capital and business acumen. After Gounders got consolidated politically, it led to greater bargain. Younger generation of Gounder community got modern and quality education and went on to begin their own ventures. Entire textile industry in Tamilnadu is dominated by Gounders, with Major chunk of TIRUPUR exporters belonging to Gounder community.
