Where do you start? My guess is KL, the capital. ,Kuala Lumpur, - is a very interesting city; whereby you can see the old and new collide, the riches and the poor. Must dos visit the museums, particularly the Islamic Arts Museum ,Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, - very near to the National Mosque. From the museum , visit the Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka). See the architecture of the Sultan Abdul Samad building. The National Textile Museum is nearby too. Petaling Street - other than famous for knock offs, you can find cheap good food here. Must trys: the soy milk (centre of the street) and also the chestnut --amazing. It's pretty crowded on the weekends though. Visit the KL Masjid Jamek, nearby Masjid Jamek LRT Station. See the confluence of Gombak and Klang river. THIS is where the city got it's name. From there, walk on to the Masjid India area - an area for Muslim Indians traders. Bukit Nanas forest reserve ,Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia): Address, Phone Number, Nature & Wildlife Area Reviews - TripAdvisor Of course, the Twin Towers, if you are not into shopping; just have a short walk in the park (the skyline is gorgeous!) and maybe drop by Aquaria KLCC ,Page on aquariaklcc.com Visit the famous Batu Caves. it's located in the suburbs of KL. Climb the stairs and see the magnificent Lord Murugan statue Shopping - if you have to choose ONE shopping mall in KL, my favorite is Mid Valley. Eat - ,User-11615417129056900502, is spot on. Also please try visit our Jalan Alor; famous for street food at night. This is my version of KL visit. it might be less interesting for some. :)
