Between Honda City and Ford Freestyle, which one should I choose? I know they both are from different segments. I am looking at a diesel car.
Honda City is a Car with all the bells and whistles which gives great mileage, good space inside, big boot and also looks premium and also LED headlamps and all. This is about City. To choose city it is more of a personal choice because you get less for more money when you compare it with the Hyundai Verna as it has decent rear seat but consider features, style, boot and all its miles ahead of city for sure. Choose one among this if you have a big family and also your requirements match this. Ford Freestyle is a good vehicle which looks rugged and also the engine is punchy and also its made for enthusiastic driving and a safer car i must say as it offers 6 airbags, rear seat is good but the suspension is on the stiffer side and also no grab handles at the sides of the rear seats as there airbags were present and also no projector headlamps and literally there are few misses in it but when you consider it in terms of saving money, its definitely a good choice. But in this regard i would suggest you to go for a car which gets a good balance of both i.e, the Tigor as it might be less spacy but comparably freestyle and Tiago JTP because it offers more sporty driving as well. See, if its a big csr which is your requirement then I would recommend Verna SX because it offers more value and also features for your money as the City is very costly and doesn’t bring the same features list like the Verna but if you wanna go for City, its your choice then. Coming to freestyle its a good car but it lacks some features or I would say its not upto the current requirements list and if you are okay with feature misses and likes to enjoy the driving it provides then its a good one to go for but if you are taking it as choice I would recommend the Figo Blu as it offers more and still if you are stuck somewhere in choosing one I would strongly suggest the Nios from Hyundai which offers a great balance of features, space, upmarket look and many like this. So, based on segment wise and also proce wise I have given you scenarios and also better vehicles to your money so its your choice to choose one based on your preferences.
Which car is better, the new Honda Amaze or the new Dzire 2018?
The latest Honda Amaze brings along stubby boot with split tail lights that seem to have come out of the new Accord. This one looks bigger than the previous model. While it is spacy by 15mm and longer by only 5mm, the flat hood and the stubby back meet up to influence it to look more generous. All in all amaze will be better than the dzire 2018.

Honda Activa is the product of, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India ,(HMSI in short) was launched in 2000 , that almost 17 years and they are now number one today in the India market. In 2014 HMSI launched upgraded 125 cc with increased fuel efficiency of 15% and combi break system. Honda had many other bikes / scooters world wide but not for India , because we never stop buying the same scooter , which even our neighbor had bought some time ago. Unless we create a demand for better models we will be served the same cup of tea year after year , without any technical ,upgradation or improved quality If its over rated its becase of us !!! I will start from the base segments so that it’ll be helpful for people who want a pick from my opinion. Important Note:, These cars are only my picks and If you like my choice that’s great if not its ok! 1. Compact hatchbacks, : In this category we have Maruti SPresso, Renault Kwid but Tiago from Tata is the best one when you consider as a overall package because take safety, features, tyres, its design and all are so Simple yet good one to choose. 2. Mid-Size Hatchbacks :, In this category even though there are very promising players like Ford Figo, Hyundai I10 Nios and also the Swift from Maruti Suzuki and my pick for a balanced package of be it features, interiors and exteriors is Hyundai I10 Nios. 3. Hatchbacks : ,In this segment we have Baleno, Hyundai I20 and latest Altroz among which Altroz provides the best value for money and also it has very special packs of modifications which no other company has in this segment which were initiated by the company. But if you want a sporty looking and feature rich with high NVH levels and others then 2020 I20 could be your best pick when it comes to the premium high offering one. 4. Compact Sedans: ,In this segment we have the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, VW Ameo, Ford Aspire and among these the best balanced car interms of features and interiors goes to Aura while the best safety goes to Ameo and mileage kings are Amaze and Dzire while Aspire is also a pretty good one when it comes to driving enthusiasts. 5. Compact SUV’s : ,In this segment we have the key players like Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300 and also Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and all of the above mentioned are now BS6 while Maruti looses on the diesel player while Ford looses out its punchy Ecoboost petrol now with a 1.5lit one and Hyundai is yet to be converted to 1.5lit engines so the overall best pick for mileage goes to Maruti Suzuki Brezza while best driving experience goes to Ford EcoSport and a comfortable ride quality goes to both XUV300 and Tata Nexon but Nexon is also the best balance pick be it in features, space, boot and other aspects as well and while Venue is good for the ones . Special mention goes to Ford EcoSport here because it has some features which are a segment above like TPMS, Traction control, full size alloy and a better handling SUV among the pack. 6. Mid-size Compact SUV’s : ,This is the very hot segment as of now having the massive competitors like MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta which was launched recently. In this if you want a super sporty looking and also a feature packed one then its undoubtedly Kia Seltos while if you want a AI enabled vehicle goes to MG Hector with its compafortable ride quality and Tata Harrier is for the ones who wants to intimidate the drivers with its clean and butch looks and also now with even more spacy appealung cabin with the hige panoramic sunroof and appealing design of the alloys and all add to its favour. Hyundai Creta is for the ones who wants to upgrade over Seltos not interms of design but interms of some new features in the segment like Electric parking brake, digital instrumentation cluster, auto hold and also a panoramic sunroof and mileage as well. The Best balance pick gies for Kia Seltos which is the clear winner interms of many aspects compared. 7. Compact Sedans 2: ,In this we have the key players like Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Toyota Yaris, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid(noy yet released so not including it and also VW Vento is yet to be updated) among which the better equipped top end variants goes to Hyundai Verna for its ventilated seats, sunroof, handsfree tailgate and also the high responsive infotainment system as well. Mileage king here is Maruti Suzuki Ciaz with nothing exceptional about it and Honda City is both for luxury appealing design, roomy interior space and is also for the driving enthusiasts escpecially the 1.5lit petrol CVT and Toyota Yaris is for best value for money but keep in mind that its not having any compelling features or any sporty designs and all. 8. The Best long term vehicle goes to Fortuner and Isuzu MUX is good at some but nothing extraordinary in any aspect so its reserved for future is the company makes anything ground breaking in it while the Alturas from Mahindra is for luxury and plush appealing 2nd row seats and also the cabin experience in the driver seats and 2nd row are excellent. 9. Best Mid-size sedans: ,In this sapce we have Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia, Honda Civic and VW Passat. Among these Skoda and VW which are understated elegance while Honda Civic is for stylish coupe lovers with its cuts and creases and Hyundai Elantra is simply a no nonsense kind of vehice if you want a petrol. Best build quality goes to Skoda and VW while Civic is good for sportier driving and Elantra is as I mentioned above, a no nonsense one.
