The MG HS is the production version of the concept MG X Motion. It debuted at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, alongside the Roewe Marvel X. Engine options of the MG HS include an inline four 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine producing 169hp, and an inline four 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine, producing 231hp. It comes with push start stop engine button, 10.1 inch tablet like infotainment interface with climate control and radio, navigation, multimedia, Bluetooth and smartphone connections, cruise control, front ambient lightning, sport mode button at the centre of the steering wheel and paddle shifts. The "Trophy" version adds the red leather interior, sport mode switch (at the centre of the steering wheels), paddle shifts, 360 view reverse camera, "Trophy" badge exterior, 1.5 litre petrol engine with seven speed DCT, as usual as added its sport trims in selected countries. In Indonesia, the HS went on sale starting on 13 August 2020 with the variants are available: Excite and Ignite.
